How to UPLOAD video

With a very convenient upload process integrated into the publisher's portal, CASTNEST continues the legacy of providing easy-to-use interfaces to our valued publishers.

Let's take a look at the document below.

Log in to your CASTNEST portal and select "Videos" from the main menu on the left.

The message "Cast your first video" and an "Upload Video" button will appear in the centre of the browser screen.

Select the "Upload Video" option.

A new page called "Upload Videos" has two split boxes.

The first box has a white background and says "Start Upload."

The message "Drag & Drop files here" appears in the second box, which has a light grey background.

We must begin with the second box and the message "drag and drop."

Files can be dragged and dropped here.

This section has dual functionalities.

• Your local system file manager will open when you click on the box with the message "Drag and Drop Files Here".
• Select the video files you want to upload. To select multiple files, press the CTRL button on your keyboard and start clicking the files. Once all are selected, press the "Ok" or "Open" button in the file manager.

• Another way is to select files from your local system file manager. To select multiple files, press the CTRL button on your keyboard and start clicking the files. Once all are selected, drag the files to the grey box.
• Your selected files will appear in this white box.

Now click on the "Start Upload" button at the bottom of the white box showing the list of videos selected for upload.

The upload process will start and show the progress of the upload.

After completing the upload process, the files uploaded will disappear from the white box, and details of the file will appear at the bottom of the page.

A notification popup will appear at the top right corner of the browser screen with the title "Success." having the message "Files Uploaded Successfully."

Now click on "Videos" from the left main menu.

You will see the list of the videos uploaded in square boxes with a play button and a white section at the bottom of the box containing the uploaded file name.

A setting button with the message "Processing." This "processing" means your file is getting ready with different resolutions. Note that CASTNEST will create your video resolution lower than the resolution of the uploaded video file.

During the process, if you click on the play button. This click will open the video control panel with the "General" menu option selected and a square box on the right side of the screen showing the process's completion percentage.

After completing the file processing, the video will show a "ready" tag, and the setting button will disappear.

After clicking "Videos" from the left main menu, your video will show a ready tag, and the setting button will disappear.
