CASTNEST is committed to creating ease for publishers. It is always difficult for the publisher to stream content that is available on multiple social or private platforms at the same time.
Let's go through the document below.
When creating a live stream, after completing the information for general setup, the third stage of the wizard will be multistream. Click on "Add Platform."
If you have not created a stream, please follow the document.
- "How to Create a Stream using a Webcam."
- "How to Create a Stream using PUSH."
- "How to Create a Stream using PULL."
- "How to Create a Stream using SRT."
A list of platforms is available for you to choose to stream your content. The Multistream platform choice for sharing the content depends on your package selection.
Let's assume you want the stream to be available on YouTube soon. As your stream goes live, click YouTube, and a side menu will appear.
You can access your YouTube account from this sidebar content. Click on the YouTube button. A new browser tab will open on the same browser to get your Google Account to verify and allow the CASTNEST Live Stream. I assume you have multiple Google accounts. A list of accounts to choose from will be available in your browser window. Click on the Google account you want to associate with CASTNEST. It will ask for permission to allow you to confirm account association with CASTNEST.
Note that you must have publishing enabled on your Google Account.
Click will authenticate with your Google account and take you back to the previous page with the options to define the title and description for the stream you want to display on your YouTube Channel. Add your details and press the "Add Platform" button. You always have the option to cancel at this point if you have a change in plans.
It will take a few seconds to process and complete.
Once the procedure is complete, a success message will be displayed.
The process is complete. Close the menu by pressing the cross at the top left corner of the side menu and divert to the first screen from where you started the multistream process. You can add more platforms by repeating a similar multistream process. Click the cross button at the top left corner of the bottom menu to close it after completing the multistream process.
Now you are back to the Live Stream Creation Wizard. You have added the list of the platforms to the stream.
As your stream is not live at this point, you will see the status as Pending for the platforms you added. Press the button next to complete the stream creation process. It will redirect you to your newly created stream control panel.
It's time to bring your steam alive. Choose either of the options: Webcam, Push, Pull, or SRT. Once you have published your stream, a live preview is available on the right side, with a "Live" notification.
Now Let's click on the Multistream option for the stream from the panel menu.
You can see that your added platform status is running to verify your YouTube Channel or any other added platform and see if you will get your Live Stream available.
